WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Biden held a press conference this morning to help ease the Americans minds about rising inflation, but soon realized that they can’t comprehend the concept of supply chain.

“I want to assure you that we have the matter under control,” said the President. “I understand your frustration with rising prices, but stop your complaining — since you can’t understand the concept of supply chain you can’t begin to understand what we are dealing with.” The President then unveiled a diagram with two dots connected by a straight line. “Point A to point B,” the President said as he pointed to the diagram. “But anybody who is not the President just doesn’t understand how to move goods and services from point A to point B. It’s a very complicated thing. Ordinary people who eat lunch just can’t understand such a conversation. Sometimes we have to move good or services from point B to point C.”

President Biden then spent the next hour looking for point C on his diagram of which it was not found. “You see, the supply chain is a very complex topic, especially when goods or services have to travel to point C.”

Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, had this to say, “The President is absolutely right. Supply chain is a very complex topic. I have been trying to learn it while breastfeeding and still have no clue about how to do either one.
