WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Joe Biden reflected on how he was arrested during the Civil War in a speech at a college in Atlanta.

Some think that the story maybe exaggerated, that Biden may not have actually been arrested during the Civil War even though he may have been there serving ice cream.

“I did not walk in the boots of actual soldiers who did stuff in the war. But I walked the battle fields. Because I’m so damn old, I was there as well. You think I’m kidding, man. Don’t be a dog faced pony — I was there and I was arrested for what feels like the first time. Okay, it might not have been the first time — it was the second time, the first time was during the Revolutionary War, but that’s another story with a very different political agenda.”

Many think that Biden exaggerated the story to enhance his motives of getting more ice cream in the army commissary stores, while others just don’t think at all.

“I was arrested during the Battle of Gettysburg because they wouldn’t give the soldiers ice cream. I fought for their rights to have a scoop before the actual fighting started, but we were denied and I was arrested.”

While the only facts to the story appear to rest with Joe Biden, a recent picture has surfaced placing the President behind bars during the Civil War.
