CALIFORNIA — Law makers have announced an ambitious plan to ban all trash from being disposed of in trash bins.

Starting next year Californians will face heft fines for throwing away any trash into their trash.

“It’s time we clean up California,” stated Governor Gavin Newsom. “And what better place to start than with the trash. Experts agree that trash accounts for 100% of all trash, that’s why we need to stop throwing away our trash. I know that this will be a little more work for people, but we need to stop our trash from making it to the landfills and creating evil methane gas.”

The new law, known as SB-We-Can-Do-Whatever-We-Want, will take effect January 1, 2022 and will impose a fine of one million dollars for anyone caught throwing away trash into their trash receptacles.

Instead, all residents will be given compost bins that will magically make all trash disappear.
