Once a year official lexicographers meet to decide on words to add to the dictionary. This year however, at the official dictionary summit, the thirteen member panel met to remove key words from the English dictionary at the request of Congress.

    What words did they remove?

The distinguished scholars officially removed the words Freedom, Science, and Truth from the dictionary.

    Why did they do this?

Raymond Bettbutt, the chairperson for the committee said this, “It is out job — no our duty to protect the people of this great country from evil or distasteful words that no longer have a place in our society.”

Joan Minia, co-chairperson added this statement, “We have done our due diligence and not just removed these useless words but have replaced them. Science will know be known as “whatever we want,” and Truth will be forevermore replaces by the term “whatever we say,” and Freedom — well that nasty word has just been removed altogether.”

In a poll conducted by Spaghetti Thumbs absolutely no one agrees with this move except a few key Democrats who praised the the removal of the words as heroic.

President Biden waking from his mid morning nap made this statement, “What — UM — Yes whatever she said is good.”

Spaghetti Thumbs will continue to watch for more changes to our English language.
